MARTINSBURG — When Bethany Arndt considered her ideal college, she knew she wanted something not far away and not too big.
Enter Potomac State, where Arndt recently signed her letter of intent to continue her basketball career.
“I didn’t want to go to a big school because I don’t like that. I didn’t want to be like around a lot of people because it’ll make me nervous in the first year of college. So when my dad said, Potomac State. I was like, ‘Yes, I’ll go try that out,'” Arndt said. “I wanted to be close to home. I didn’t want to leave, go somewhere far.”
